#789 A Film

Although I have never been, I have a veering-towards-eccentric obsession with the city of Paris. I may or may not have an embarrassing amount of Parisian Paraphernalia around my bedroom and Paris is definitely on my list of cities that I must see before I die. My enthusiasm for everything Paris is shared by the central character in Woody Allen’s latest cinematic offering: Midnight in Paris. I’m terrible with summaries, so just go here. If the movie opening with wide shots of scenic Parisian locales wasn’t enough to win me over, the charming dialogue and superb casting sure did. I laughed, I cried (well not really), and I laughed some more.  On a scale of “see it now” to “don’t bother” I’d say it ranks “why aren’t you already watching it?”
